Beadwork has been dated back to Late Old Stone Age. Throughout history, we as humans have been drawn to adorn ourselves with beads.

I am fascinated with how this art form is taught, and the new beads and techniques, as well as learning the history of beadwork as it evolved over our planet.

Once a young software engineer told me this was a waste of time. I told him it was a fabulous waste of time and hung up on him.

I love a scallop collar where the beads do most of the work. I’m not huge into shaped beads as of yet, but when I spotted these at Bead and Button in 2018, I knew I had to do something with them. I whipped this up during the time I was taking my master class, I had this great simple but cool necklace to wear.
